Tony has almost 20 years of credible experience as a lawyer in commercial dispute resolution (both in Indonesia and overseas), bankruptcy & corporate restructuring, competition/anti-monopoly, international trade & customs, insurance & banking. Tony is an accredited mediator and arbitrator in Indonesia and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. He sits on the panel of approved mediators and arbitrators of domestic and international dispute resolution institutions, such as the Kuala Lumpur Regional Centre for Arbitration. He is one of the few legal practitioners in Indonesia who is qualified as a capital market legal consultant and tax court attorney. Tony has written for several high-level publishing companies, and has contributed to the “International Commercial Arbitration in Asia” published by Juris Publishing (2013), “The Asia-Pacific Arbitration Review” published by Global Arbitration Review (2014, 2015 and the upcoming 2016 edition), and with Juni Dani for the “European Lawyer Reference: Corporate Governance” published by Thomson Reuters (2013) and in the Practical Law Global Guide 2015/16: Corporate Governance & Director’s Duties in Indonesia. He has spoken at seminars, workshops, and courses in Indonesia, Australia, and Hong Kong - SAR, Nepal, Singapore, South Korea, and other countries. Tony graduated from the University of Leiden, the Netherlands, with a Masters of Law degree in International Business Law. As a member of Indonesian Bar Association, Tony is admitted to practice in Indonesian courts.
